Repackaging tips and silent install information for Code Sector TeraCopy 3.12. This App Tip provides comprehensive details for conducting a silent installation of TeraCopy. It includes additional insights, such as user environment specifics, extra installation parameters, and repackaging tips.

Our goal is to bring the crowd of workplace management and security ninjas together to share their knowledge, learn together. This covers topics around management of endpoints with configuration manager and Intune, as well virtual desktops and the complete security stack of Microsoft.

The AdminStudio application packaging training course will teach you to use AdminStudio to repackage traditional setups into Windows Installer packages and customize those packages to meet specific needs. Learn application packaging best practices and much more.

In this application packaging training course, you will also gain experience in creating transforms for existing third-party MSI packages and improving package quality through identifying and resolving conflicts between packages, validation and automated tests before deploying your applications.

The following course sections and topics will be covered in the class. If you have a specific area that you think might need extra attention, mention it to your instructor on the first day of application packaging training.

The InstallShield, MSI Projects course provides you with a solid understanding of installation terminology, the tasks an installation program needs to perform, and the InstallShield development environment.

It's been been a long year, but I finally got some time to rework this project. I re-wrote everything from scratch because the old version was getting too complicated with so many options and sub-menus. This new version is much easier to use and I have been testing for a few days and it seems very stable.

For those who are new to this software, it helps you install software silently/unattended. This new version tries to determine the silent switch automatically. You can also re-organize the order in which the software installs by dragging & dropping them in the listview. It now supports creating profiles and checks for missing software (and automatically unchecks them, so it does not attempt to install non-existent software). One feature I included was because I have seen several people on Youtube talk about disliking bright screens at night. So, now you can choose from a few color theme (half of them are dark). I dabbled a bit more into GDI+ to draw a few things and show my logo with a transparent background (hint: I'm not good at GDI+).

Back up and restore Windows user files _Array.au3 - Modified array functions that include support for 2D arrays. - ColorChooser - An add-on for SciTE that pops up a color dialog so you can select and paste a color code into a script. - Customizable Splashscreen GUI w/Progress Bar - Create a custom "splash screen" GUI with a progress bar and custom label. - _FileGetProperty - Retrieve the properties of a file - SciTE Toolbar - A toolbar demo for use with the SciTE editor - GUIRegisterMsg demo - Demo script to show how to use the Windows messages to interact with controls and your GUI. - Latin Square password generator

I suggest you post your code - and the associated ini file - so that we can see where you might have gone wrong. When you post your script please use Code tags - put [autoit] before and [/autoit] after your posted code. Then you get a scrolling box and syntax colouring which makes it easier to read.

TeraCopy lets you copy or move files at the maximum possible speed. It uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times, as well as asynchronous copy to speed up file transfers between two physical hard drives. When an error is encountered during copying/moving, TeraCopy will automatically retry and skip the files that cannot be transferred instead of aborting the entire operation. It also shows failed file transfers and lets you recopy only problem files.

Once the destination directory is selected, files can be dragged-and-dropped onto the window, even while a transfer is in progress. Once files are transferred, the Verify option uses a hash check to see if files are identical.

Note that a Pro version of the program is available with additional features.

I've was able to copy about 10 GB of files from an aging and extremely noisy and slow hard drive via a USB adapter -- Would have gotten a head ache had I copied from windows explorer, or tried to. PS. 0/42 flagged by virus total, it's clean. PSS. Development seems to have slowed down but there's a beta floating that adds some features / fixes some issues...some other tools are better than TC like gsrichcopy 360/fast copy/robocopy

finiderire: "why not providing the program as a Zip file already "prepared" ?"

We are just listing this; we didn't develop it. Feel free to contact the developer at the "website" link and ask. The method that we have is a trick that enables portability on a great many terrific apps. Please see the site FAQ.

@ finiderire: The word 'extract' at the 'How to extract:' is a link to an application called 'Universal Extractor'.
Use this to extract the installer file and follow the rest of the 'How to extract' instructions.

How can i set TeraCopy is default copy program instead of windows explorer? In application folder there is one reg file DefaultHandler.reg but if i open the file and add the registry value to the registry it still doesn't change to default copy program.

You can also just run Inno Unpacker on it directly. Grab it here: And just place innounp.exe and terracopy.exe in the same directory and run innounp.exe -x terracopy.exe from the command line. That's all Universal Extractor is doing under the hood after it figures out what kind of installer it is.
