Maybe my question is too basic, but i think this is a really basic functionality:
I would like to press a PAD (in performance view) and keep playing the sample in an infinite loop, is that possible?
Thanks in advance.
There is no need for latch.
1 Load your sample
2 Create a pattern and input a note so that when the pattern repeats it plays the sample again
3 Load that pattern to a cell in scenes view
4 Trigger in performance view and it will loop infinitely
Yes, exactly like that. I asume you are using the Latch plugin on the last row loops?
1. Could you show your pads configuration and explain?
2. How did you record video/audio of your ipad? What tools did you use.
Thanks!!!

In loop mode it happens, that I hit a pad and it is making a loop from the beginning of the track to the position I wanted to set the loop from. So the track basically starts from the beginning with a loop of the size where i pressed the pad before.
In addition to that malfunction, there is another thing I can reproduce (see the video in this post):I hit a pad (here: pad 7) to define the start point, after that I hit it another time to define the end point. You can see, that loop 7 (the color bar) is two steps long. But instead looping the defined part, it jumps in front of loop 7 and loops eight steps in front of it. This is the behavior I describe as my second malfunction in my first post.
I want to add again, that it is working a lot of the time correctly, but suddenly it freaks out again. Each pad is doing this. So I guess there might be something wrong in the electronics at a higher level of the pads.
Certainly on auto loop mode the left most pad provides a 1/16th loop (or something very similar and small like that) with the loop lengths getting bigger if you press pad 2 or pad 4 or pad 8 etc (shortest loops on left most pads, longer and longer loops on right most pads )
Once you have purchased a pad, it will automatically be added to your account to use in Prime. Login to the Prime App, click Add Song, and click the pad to download it to your setlist.
If you want to use a pad in your favorite DAW, select the In-App & File Download option on the pad page and you will be able to download the wav files.
Once in prime, the pads can be customized to your liking. You can turn up and down the faders of each track, as well as solo and mute different tracks. You can turn the Click Track on or off. You can also change the key of the pad as well as the bpm within its set range.
If your songs have dead space or silence at the beginning or end of the track, it can be helpful to shorten them so that you can fade into your pad smoothly. To get the timing just right, select the timestamp in Prime to open up a dropdown menu. Within this menu, you can change when the song starts, ends and also fades out. This works the same for pads in Prime as well. For example, if you want to give yourself two minutes to read a passage of scripture, change the End Time of your pad to two minutes.
Transitioning in and out of pads can eliminate awkward gaps in a worship service. To crossfade or overlap into a Prime Pad, turn on the Crossfade or Overlap feature (to the right of the BPM in your setlist) on the song before the pad in the setlist. If you want to crossfade or overlap out of a pad, turn on Crossfade or Overlap on the pad track itself.
Prime pads are easy to incorporate into your worship set. Buy pads on LoopCommunity.com today and try one in your worship services this weekend!

Check with Home Dept/Lowes as they sell generic replacement pads for some of the major brands. I have a Milwaukee ROS so I was out of luck but got a decent price online so I bought 2. They should also sell a generic repair kit which comes with just the hook and loop material that you peel off the old hook and loop and then glue the new on.
Here is a link to Home Depot for online purchase of a full replacement pad for your Makita for $20 + shipping.

Was going to suggest Home Depot but it looks like someone has. I was also thinking if you could get the pad off, and attatch velcro to the base that is might work. Not sure how the base is made though. My ROS is a dewalt and has a plastic looking base on it so I would be leary of trying it on that. If it is metal, you could probably carefully scrape it off with a razor blade and clean it up with mineral spirits for the remaining glue. A lot of work when you can get one for $16 plus shipping though.
My only problem with PSA discs is that a lot of times, especially for smaller projects, you put one on the sander, do the sanding, but the paper is far from "used up". After removing the disc, it never really sticks very well the next time. Some discs don't even come with a peel off backing (Mirka)- so where do you store a used disk so it won't get dusty on the sticky side.

These hook-and-loop-backed flexible diamond sanding pads from DiamondCore Tools are highly flexible 93 mm X 57 mm pads. They can be used on or off the Block for Hook-and-Loop Pads for all of your sanding projects!
Note: The higher-grit pads have resin-based "dots" which are designed for smoothing only after adequate smoothing with lower-grit pads. The dots will show wear as the pads are used. This is normal and how they are designed to work. Trying to polish a piece without adequate smoothing with lower-grit diamond pads first will cause the dots to wear much more rapidly.
The 145 Hook n' Loop pads are made with rugged woven nylon material and have a cinch type hook and loop closure for extra security. The angle metal insert provides additional climber control. Please order the pad according to the climber. Steel Alloy climbers use the "A", while Aluminum and Titanium will use the "B."
