Wait, why am I apparently listed as the  Owner/Manager of Manipulation Machine LLC and why am I receiving mail informing me that I'm in violation of of not posting Utah Labor laws and may be subject to a $17,000 fine.

I did NOT sign up to manage this LLC.

That is a good question, but you probably should have thought of that before violating Utah Labor Laws and using child labor (Sherly is only 17). I don't remember what the end result of that LLC stuff was exactly, I don't think I actually did any of it. If you want to I can spend some time looking into it though if you want to scan the letter. Or get the contents to me somehow so I can look into it.

I probably am not the best person to deal with it, but when we were discussing this we said it could take some time after we graduate and I said I am ok with that. So if you want my time to help with it, I can.

P.S. how did they send it to you? I thought you were moving, did they find you at your new address and mail it there?

They sent it to the CS office and I got an e-mail from Taylor about "urgent mail".  I was hoping it was a reimbursement check -_-

(Side Note:  Has anyone been reimbursed for E3 yet?!)

I'm not entirely sure what the hell this mail is about, but it has "urgent" "ALERT" and all kinds of scary words on it.  It says "If any of these notices are not posted/current" so it's not saying that this MUST be done it seems (unless we need to order one and then just not hang it up?).  I think it would be safe to ignore, likely.  It's not like we're an actual company employing people after all.  Right before all the money information it does say "Return this form in the enclosed envelope to bring you business into compliance."

In any case, they want like $20 to ship a poster for us to hang....

That isn't Utah. That is a company trying to scam some money from you. I google them and they have a lot of reviews about them just trying to get money from you as they send you letters that look like they are official.

So they just found your name and your association with the company and sent you that letter hoping to make some money off you.

As for if you are the owner or not, i doubt you are. I don't remember something like that happening and this company probably just got your name and sent you it. Not because you are actually the owner of the business.

Sorry I'm not home (and on my phone) but yeah that's for sure a scam, you're not the owner since we don't have one, and they most likely pulled info from public records. EAE was the address given for the LLC so we didn't have to worry about people moving. 

We have a principal member or something like that and that's me. Also, everyone should remember that our paperwork is in PDF form on our Dropbox so you can always just go look at it.
