Subject: E3 2014 College Game CompetitionProfessor Kessler, congratulations! The University of Utah’s game The Vinyl Game was selected as a finalist in the 2014 E3 College Game Competition. Your students and university have every reason to be proud. Many colleges and universities competed this year and your school’s game ranked in the top five. As such, we now invite you to attend E3 2014 to exhibit and share your game with our 45,000 attendees from around the world.
Consistent with the rules and regulations you received, The University of Utah (or representatives) will be required to pay for travel and accommodations, but ESA can help in providing assistance with hotel reservations. In addition, there will be space provided on E3’s showfloor so your team can exhibit and meet with attendees. By accepting, you confirm that there will be a representative(s) who will attend E3 (June 10-12 in Los Angeles) and I can have our production team be in contact to discuss logistics.
Please take a moment and sign the attached eligibility and release form and return it to me as quickly as you are able. We will publically announce the full list of finalists when all universities have returned the form.
Many thanks and please accept our congratulations on making it this far in this competition. We will be distributing a press release shortly announcing the finalists.
I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
Best regards and looking forward to talking with you.
