In the coming months, I may probably teach a 4 day in person program in New Delhi (Mini Shastri). I may also teach a 3 week in person program (Atmayogashala) in Chennai–Bhagavad Gita for Yoga students (50 hrs) and Vinyasakrama yoga asana
Atmavaan
The subtlest entity in an individual being is the unchanging awareness. That the Samkhys and yogis call as atman, purusha, drashta or the Self and it should be understood as "I"
Dharmavaan is one who possesses and practices dharma, the charitable one. balavaan is one who possesses great physical strength. dhanavaan is one who has tons of money. Vidyavaan is one who has plenty of knowledge The valorous one is called viryavaan. Bhagavaan the Lord has the power to create (the universe).
The suffix vaan (vat) indicates possession
Then what or who is Atmavaan. It is the yogi who possesses the correct knowledge, without an iota of doubt, of the nature of atman or the Self
The Lord advises Arjuna in the Gita Ch II verse 45
“Atmawan bhava Arjuna” meaning Be (become) an Atmavan.
If the Lord considered that a “non-spiritual” warrior could and should become an atmawaan, then almost anyone could, if willing, become an atmawaan.,
