Hi someone in the US would like someone to send him a CD - he lives in Dahlonega, GA. where ever that is? Could someone who does and is willing to pop a CD in the post get in touch with me and I will supply the e-mail address and postal address in a private message.

I think the cat should at least join the list and ask for his or her self.

Hi he contacted me via the website contact form - so he may not want to join the list yet - he will when he runs into problems though!

I don't know why, but o e wasn't reading the correct from header information until I restared o e, so didn't realize that was you who wrote the message.  I just though it was some random person asking for a friend.  I noticed there was  problem with the from header being spoken in the next message, but forgot to write an appology.  Sometimes, it would be nice if mail could be retraced and mostly for more important reasons.

many ppl do not have time for mailing lists, and we do not do a good enough job with our subject lines, nor does any list I've ever seen, so that one can easily pick and choose, or easily filter in or out useful messages. Once a thread has started and yo read a couple maybe you can take a chance and not read it, but how often the subject change while sub-line stays back on the original topic?
I love this list, but will probably shift all m list mail to another account so I can get to my most urgent mail, and do the lists once in a while. I am on like 5 lists, two with fairly high traffic, and it can take half a day to catch up if I miss a day or two of mail, and any topics are interesting, or need responses.
Digests don't help as replying is more difficult and especially reading them with Orca can be time consuming. They are easy enough to read from Google-groups, but the replies require doing things by hand, or going to the web-site that is a nightmare with Orca.
(I could of course read my mail from windows, and digest and the google groups pages would be a bit easier...lol...)

That's exactly what I do. I read this list using windows mostly. One
thing that would make reading this list faster with Vinux in Orca is
if the threads were presented the same way they are in gmail. Each
needs it's own checkbox and to have the messages inside of them
colapsable and separated into level 2 headings that you can just jump
to with the letter h or the number 2. I don't think that is something
anyone on this list can control, however. That's a google thing.
Orca needs more rapid navigation keys. It needs to have the ability
to navigate by div, span, clickable link, list, object, graphic, and
frame. These are still missing. If only I knew Python! Anyone know
how portable code from NVDA would be to Orca for Mozilla? Since the
engine that drives Firefox is multiplatform, wouldn't some of the more
high level python scripts that are used for rapid navigation be
portable with some slight modification to Orca? Any pythonistas out
there who can answer this one?

Rather intrigued,
Alex M
