I’m just curious what the status is of Vinux these days. Is this accessible distribution of Linux still being supported and updated?
If not, what is the version of Linux that is being supported and updated that is most accessible to the visually impaired community?
Thanks,
--Pete
I know there's still some interest in continuing to support vinux but resources are hard to find. I wish I could devote more time to it myself.
In the meantime, a lot of people are talking about a Slackware based distribution that's accessible out of the box called Slint. Here's more information about it http://aiyumi.warpstar.net/en/blog/slint-linux-review/
Right now, I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04, which I find pretty
accessible out of the box.
