here is an interesting question regarding vmware workstation player, there newest itteration and it's installer inaccessibility

hi there,
I'm running vinux 5.0, I want to run virtual machines, that is a
given, how ever an issue has cropped up.
when ever I run there installer link

the link does work,
the installer is completely inaccessible.
I have qt-at-spi:i386 installed, no go.
any help?
any vmware users out there, which virtion are you running?
how did you install it?

interesting, just run the vmware installer the installer that was
mentioned in the last email, still inaccessible?
if it is no trouble, could someone detail what is required to make the
installer accessible?
i've been pulling my hear out about this these last few days:)

an update, when I launch it being the vmware installer from the shel, I get
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "atk-bridge":
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libatspi.so.0: undefined symbol:
g_type_class_adjust_private
could this be the culprit?
II feel like I wish to strangle it :)

What is your desktop environment?

I had no trouble last time I used employer.

It’s late now but I will re-install in the morning and let you know my experience.

the kernel module screen was inaccessible for me under Mate but I had no
problems under Unity.
