Hi all,
I'm using the bluefish editor. I should be able to do a spellcheck and
count the number of words in the document. I can see the menu items for
this. aspell and enchant seemed to be installed on my machine. Has
anybody else figured this out or can anyone look at bluefish and tell
me. The documentation I've found isn't very helpful.

Hi Rill,

Check that the enable spell check
option is checked under Edit > Preferences > Initial document settings. It should be by default, but it might not hurt to check.

I've used Bluefish with Ubuntu and with Mint with no hitches with spell check. I also work some with Quanta+ but with Quanta I can never get tidy or any other add-ons to work. I've fiddled with trying to get the add-ons working with Quanta but I've never had any luck but bad!
