we have 39 gallons of grenache

56/57 gal PS

and 10 gallons grenache rose. this is super light colored.

i am drinking a 60% grenache 40% syrah very good, if a little light. ventana rubystone

here is my proposal for the grenache:

blend 6 gal with the 10 gal of rose

bottle 12 gallons as grenache. it will be a dark rose, but still a rose, to my nose.

21 gal remaining grenache blend with 40% PS

that will use up 14 gal PS, meaning that we would have to use the rest soon after.

what % PS will we want for the zin?

how much zin is in glass or metal?

I think that's too much ps in the Grenache. We need 20-30% ps for the zin, which we have 52 gallons in the barrel and ~18 in other vessels. The 30% is good! Better than less.

We tried 10-15 % ps in the Grenache and that was good. Lets be a little light with that wine cuz the others are heavier. That wine is great light.
