Tushar Pawar is a wildlife biologist working on Indian Pangolin in Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary, Maharashtra. After completing his Masters in Animal physiology from Pune University, he has worked as a full-time wildlife biologist for more than 8 years with several organizations, the Maharashtra forest department, and has been part of various community-based conservation projects. His research area also includes the conservation of tigers and their habitat in the Central Indian Landscape. Tushar's main expertise lies in law enforcement, intelligence gathering, studying population dynamics of various species, landscape-level habitat management, environmental education, and awareness generation among the local tribal communities.
