can't find files

Am I missing something?
I installed vim touch and the runtime but I can't find the application directory where plugins go. In vim if I do ':e .' I see a vim directory with all the right director ies. But it's nowhere on the file system in otter apps. I can't find the /data/data/net.momodalo... directories anywhere.
I'm trying to install vimwiki. Adding a .vimrc file to root works but it cants find the plugins.
Can anyone help?

Possible help — start vim, command shell (as in ":sh<cr>"). Just sayin'.
That directory is where I keep my [non-rooted] .vimrc file.
