Hi,
Have you read about this blog post: https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2015/08/21/the-future-of-developing-firefox-add-ons/
It seems it would render obsolete (and impossible to implement anymore) most of the addons which make deep changes in Firefox UI or foundations. Well I don't know Vimperator's code in details, but my guess would be that this is Vimperator's case. Is it? And so: is it the end of vimperator? ;-(
I sincerely hope not, but future does not seem very bright with this news…
