What causes Vimium to decide something is a link?

Hi,

I'm using Vimium and loving it so first of all thanks to all of you for working on it!

In my company we have several internal web apps and one them only partially "lights up" with links when I press on "f".

I talked with the developer and he said that he's using angular so he's not really sure how he should use it differently so that Vimium will see it's a link (because the mouse cursor changes when I hover and it's clickable).

Any pointers to what he should do so that Vimium will know links are links? If you have any angualr specific tips that would be amazing.
