Hey team,

1.45 is coming soon (hopefully next week) and it's going to be a giant release -- there's a lot of good stuff, thanks to the effort of mrmr1993, Stephen Blott, and others:

  • Vimium options are synced across computers
  • New commands: open in new tab and focus, move tab left or right
  • When reopening a closed tab, its session is now preserved
  • Due to significant ranking improvements, Vomnibar's search results are now even more helpful
  • Vomnibar can use search engine shortcuts, similar to Chrome's Omnibar
  • Many bug fixes

There are just a few more things that I'd like to make it in before release:

next version bugs

and a few of the pull requests which are improving features which were introduced in 1.45.

Let me know if you're aware of any release blockers which aren't included in the above bug list.

After 1.45, the plan is to release 1.46 out with another set of long-awaited features, like this one. I've been consolidating our large backlog of github issues so it's easier to find the high priority issues and features.

Thank you to everyone who's helped work through the bug list, and to those who have submitted pull requests for this version!

It's shipped! Great work everyone who contributed to this release -- there's a lot of beefy improvements and important fixes that went into this one.

The next release is going to be really good too =)
