I can't log in to authorise. When I try to enter my user name, the
text doesn't register, the box remains blank. Not sure if this is an
app issue or an issue with the vimeo website.

Sounds like an issue with the website, as you don't enter your
username/password into the app. You login to vimeo.com and they pass
an authentication token back to the app.
Are you using the default browser? Also, try unchecking mobile
settings if you have it checked, maybe the desktop version of their
login page will work better for you.
