The specific use case:

Given I am using MacVim
And I have configured MacVim, to 'Open files from applications: with a
split for each file'
And I am using PeepOpen
When I use PeepOpen to find and open that file
Then PeepOpen should open that file in a :vsplit in MacVim

Hey man,

Sorry for the delay in replying; the prep for and execution of the
holidays has filled up my last week. I bought and installed the
PeepOpen application and tried replicating the issue you're
describing. It sounds more like an issue with the way MacVim opens
files than with PeepOpen.

It's possible that there's a better, vim-native solution to opening
the types of files you want to. I'd love to to talk it over either
with skype or in real life; I'm sure there's a solution to the pain
you're experiencing. I'd be interested to know what kinds of project
files you open with PeepOpen.

Thanks,
Veez

I agree that it is the way MacVim open split files.
So, I was thinking that there might be a way to make Vim always open
in :vsplit even if the :split command was given.

I use PeepOpen like I would any other file navigator.
Honestly, it is not my "go to" method.
I usually just know what I need. And use the :e command.

@veez: Let's catch up. I'll send you an email.
