change password from roundcube

I changed to using vimbadmin but like users to change their password from the password plugin in roundcube. However how to configure this is not clear to me.

Any help is very welcome

You would need to to look at the SQL driver [1] to create the necessary
statements for your system.

See the code in our own password change feature at
changePasswordAction() on line 229 on

https://github.com/opensolutions/ViMbAdmin/blob/master/application/controllers/AuthController.php.

You could also write a new cURL driver which just POSTs to our own page
for users.

I am still using vimbadmin and quite happy with it.  Put otherwise, I have not seen a better ( yet)

I have not followed all the discussion, sorry, but i am using password plugin from roundcube, to update passwords. I am using dovecot as imap server (and as auth server too, this is far easier).

from password/config.inc.php:
$config['password_query'] = 'UPDATE mailbox SET password=%D WHERE username=%u LIMIT 1;';
$config['password_crypt_hash'] = 'sha512';
$config['password_idn_ascii'] = false;
$config['password_dovecotpw'] = '/usr/bin/doveadm pw';
$config['password_dovecotpw_method'] = 'SHA512-CRYPT';
$config['password_dovecotpw_with_method'] = false;
$config['password_hash_algorithm'] = 'sha512';
$config['password_hash_base64'] = false;

password driver is set to sql.
