Vi mode for Kate

in case you use KDE, you might want to be interested in this:

I still use KDE 3 and I think I'll wait until Gentoo marks 4.2 stable.
I'm curious on Kate's Vi mode, but the only thing I'd plan to use it is
replacing the external GVim in KMail with the Kate KPart. Unfortunately
this isn't yet possible, because KMail uses an internal editor.

Yah, that is what I want to do, as well. Oh, the blissful days
of KDE 2, KVim and a KMail which could use the KVim
KPart.. :)
