Hi there,
I get the above subject every time I load vim. I I solved this issue once in the past, but I cannot seem to figure why I am having the problem.
What I need is a pointer or help to get rid of this message.
Please help

Do you have any sockets in your home directory, maybe? NERD tree can't load these. The urxvt terminal daemon, for example, creates a socket at $HOME/.rxvt-unicode-<nodename> by default.
