Hello, I need to fix the vim red colour which makes the text blurry.
Any suggestions please?

Hmmm, strangely, I can't attach the image to this post.
I select Attach a file, however nothing happens?

Hi Mini,

Please reply to all recipients.
What is your E-mail client (MUA)? Anyway, as an option, you can use an image
sharing site such as http://imgur.com/ and send us a link.

My opinions may seem crazy but they all make sense. Insane sense, but sense
nonetheless.

Windows, Linux, Mac, something else? In gvim or in the console?

If in gvim or macvim, try tweaking the font;

If in the macvim GUI, try toggling the 'macatsui' option and/or the
'antialias' option

If in gvim for Windows see if the 'renderoptions' option can help you

If in Console mode, see if your console or terminal has settings which
might help you.

Best regards,
Tony.

That sounds like "Draw intense colour in bold font" for an ANSI red (which is otherwise too dim), in a font that doesn't have proper bold so it gets a fake smeared out bold font. But we're guessing unless you tell us OS, gvim or vim, font, and if vim which terminal emulator, and maybe which vim colour scheme.

Using the Google Groups (https://groups.google.com/)? Maybe if this is your first post, or you're not a member, a spam control measure stops you.

Thank you for the reply.
Your info was helpful.
I have resolved the issue by using a Vim colour theme desert.
My vim version is 7.4.
My OS is Linux Mint 17.1.
