Probably a bug: "Ctrl-W P" triggers an error even when there IS a previous window

Do you mean preview window or previous window? Ctrl-W P should take you
to the preview window (:h preview-window) and not to the previous window
and it doesn't trigger an error but seems to work as expected.

Perhaps you can give us an easy way to reproduce the error?
