Currently http://vim.org is broken, and loads nothing. Nowadays, people remove the www. It's redundant as there's no need to have that in front of every URL, we already have http and https prefixes, and www. is just extra work to type and possibly an eyesore that makes a website look outdated.
(Not trying to be harsh or anything like that on purpose, I'm just noting that based on how I see the current internet).
