To Reproduce

  1. vim +'set scrolloff=7' +44 https://raw.githubusercontent.com/metashell/metashell/master/test/system/mdb/test_continue.cpp (I have no configuration.)
  2. (Ensure that initial(!) winheight(0) == 40.)
  3. Press V then CTRL-D 7 times. (Sometimes also enough pressing once and standing on line 43/44… there are various possible circumstances.)

Expected behavior

No missing parts.

Environment:

  • Vim version 8.2 (Stock Arch Linux)
  • OS: Arch Linux
  • Terminal: urxvt/alacritty

To Reproduce

    1. (Ensure that initial(!) winheight(0) == 40, or at least close to it.)
    1. Press V then CTRL-D 7 times. (Sometimes also enough pressing once and standing on line 43/44… there are various possible circumstances.)

      I tested with Vim 9.2.235 and was unable to reproduce this issue.
      This issue appears to have already been fixed.
