[vim/vim] Background process exits immediately in gvim with zsh (Issue #11990)

Steps to reproduce
When using zsh, a background process exits immediately in gvim. To reproduce run:
SHELL=zsh vim -g -c 'set shelltemp' -c ':!touch /tmp/foobar &'
This appears to be the same as issue 8314.
Expected behaviour
Execute the command.
Version of Vim
9.0.1302
Environment
OS: Arch
Terminal: GUI
Shell: zsh 5.9
Logs and stack traces
