mao-yining created an issue (vim/vim#19850)

Steps to reproduce

In Windows Terminal:

https://asciinema.org/a/WRfwT5btlSjahkiE

Expected behaviour

The cursor can be shown correctly.

Version of Vim

9.2.260

Environment

MS-Windows
Windows Terminal.

Logs and stack traces

However, in msys2's version of vim in Windows Terminal works well, so that I am sure this can be solved in Vim.

I am using Windows Terminal.

  1. Open cmd.exe
  2. vim --clean
  3. and you can find things above.

@mattn Oh I found that is because I am using 'Inconsolata Nerd Font Mono'. And other fonts won't cause this problem.
