[vim/vim] Spurious characters with display=dark in vimrc (Issue #19720)

elygeo created an issue (vim/vim#19720)

When .vimrc contains the line:

set background=dark

Starting vim displays "pp" instead of an empty buffer.
This behavior is present in vim 9.2.150, but not in 9.2.100
Homebrew on macOS.

I just tried compiling from source and it appears to be fixed in the latest patch 9.2.0173.
