Remove netbeans support from Vim?

Hi all,

Is anyone actively using the netbeans integration (:help netbeans)
with Vim? It was originally developed to integrate Vim with the
Java Netbeans IDE (https://netbeans.apache.org/). But I don't
think the latest version of Netbeans IDE supports this.

Are there any actively maintained Vim plugins using the Netbeans
interface? Most of these can be replaced using the Vim channel
support.

Is there still a working Netbeans IDE? Ah, it's now Apache NetBeans.
I cannot find mention of an editor interface, only this:
https://netbeans.apache.org/kb/docs/ide/index.html
It mentions integration with Databases and source code management.

It was used by at least one plugin. I think Xavier was maintaining it.
But last time I heard about it is almost six years ago.

I recall it was a vim front-end to gdb by Xavier de Gaye. Links:

It seems superseded now that Vim integrates gdb in the terminal.

`:help netbeans-intro` mentions a few other projects that use the
netbeans interface (Clewn by Xavier was mentioned there among
others). Some of the links in that help page are broken and some
look old.
