aidancz created an issue (vim/vim#18720)

Steps to reproduce

  1. prepare a.txt
abc<nul>abc
abc<tab>abc

download here: a.txt

  1. vim a.txt
  2. run :%sort

Expected behaviour

A line containing should sort before one containing (coreutils sort command behavior), but the actual order is reversed.

Version of Vim

VIM - Vi IMproved 9.1

Environment

OS arch linux
terminal st 0.8.5
$TERM st-256color
shell zsh
