Sometimes the draw area size does not update, likely due to a race condition. I am guessing the removed code was just forgotten to be removed until now.

And this happens, because Rows/Columns is reset to the previous values? Strange. Probably hard to turn this into a test reliably.

Yes, I don't think a test is possible considering this does not happen consistently
