[vim/vim] GTK4: Fix draw area size not updating (PR #21335)

Sometimes the draw area size does not update, likely due to a race condition. I am guessing the removed code was just forgotten to be removed until now.

Yes, I don't think a test is possible considering this does not happen consistently
