Hi,

Platform: REHL v6.8
gcc (GCC) 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-23)

I was able to successfully compile vim 9.0.642 .
However, I just attempted to compile v9.0.0798 and got the following
error:

gcc -std=gnu99 -c -I. -Iproto -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DFEAT_GUI_GTK -pthread -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/include/cairo -I/usr/include/gdk-pixbuf-2.0 -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/pixman-1 -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/libpng12 -g -O2 -D_REENTRANT -U_FORTIFY_SOURCE -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=1 -o objects/sound.o sound.c
sound.c:20: error: redefinition of typedef 'soundcb_T'
proto/sound.pro:2: note: previous declaration of 'soundcb_T' was here
make[1]: *** [objects/sound.o] Error 1

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

I suppose most compilers don't complain if you repeat exactly the same
typedef.

It looks like we can drop the typedef in sound.c.
