Check this out! Vim keystrokes to navigate in Chrome. By default it is disabled for certain sites such as Gmail, I supposed because it would interfere with all the keyboard shortcuts it uses.

After you install the plugin, press ? in Chrome on a page where it isn't disabled to see all the keyboard shortcuts.
