I've been using WhatsApp on my phone and PC successfully for years. Today WhatsApp web lost the connection to my phone. I tried to scan the QR code and my phone just keeps saying "Use the WhatsApp Web scanner to scan this QR code." I've done this several times before, so I'm sure the QR code was framed correctly. I tried clearing the cache and cookies and also tried using a different browser. No joy.
I have a company in-built web application that behaves similar to WhatsApp web. I need to link/scan using QR code of WhatsApp mobile application with company inbuilt web application using Appium with Java.

note: whatsapp's multi device is actually a feature in development(may take a lot time) and you can check about it on wabetainfo.com , also a whatsapp account can only be used on one single android device (means , if you install whatsapp on anbox or something else , you wont be able to access the same account on your phone & vice-versa)
