Download had no extention---- what am i doing wrong?

I'm new to using Viloader. I'm using the Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.6
version browser. I have the video download 2.0 add-on. I wanted to
download some videos off of youtube. When I right click on the page
to download it shows the download option--- I select it-- wait a bit--
and then it has the option to download or permalink.. I choose
download--- and the Mozilla Firefox browser downloads the video to the
default location "desktop". But the video itself has not extension at
all. It just says get_video and if I download it again it shows
get_video(2) still with no extension and both have a file size of 17.6
mb. So obviously somethings there what do I do with it?

try adding .flv extension to your downloaded file.
