Hi,
Next meetup is already next week.
We will have 2 talks*:
- Use Cases for Nashorn (M. Indrašius)
Short intro to Nashorn and application in practice.
Browser code re-use and compatibility issues with Java and possible solutions for those.
- XSS vs CSRF: similarities and differences (A. Stanislovaitis)
Cross Site Scripting (XSS) and Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) are often misunderstood and mixed.
Both vulnerabilities are very relevant idetecten a modern web and both can result in an attacker gaining control over application.
Still, causes and defenses are different for both.
I will explain the concept of XSS and CSRF, demonstrate how vulnerability can be detected, exploited and how to defend against them.
