Philosophy Club, Friday, July 4th, "The History of Old Glory, Patriotic Songs, and National Holidays."

The Philosophy Club meets Friday afternoons at Lake Miona Recreation Center in The Villages, FL.  Meetings start promptly at 4:00PM and end at 5:30PM. Presenters usually speak for 25 to 45 minutes, followed by a Discussion Period where the Leader and Audience Members ask Questions and express their Opinions, and the Presenter replies.

We will discuss the evolution and history of the flag, patriotic songs, and our national holidays mixed with trivia related to each.

Using available evidence, we'll look at these many claims including geo-engineering, HAARP, and other conspiracy theories.  Some are funny - some are outrageous - and most contain an abundance of sky-is-falling rhetoric.  Caution: Do not over-medicate prior to this talk.
