The Philosophy Club meets Friday afternoons at Lake Miona Recreation Center in The Villages, FL. Meetings start promptly at 4:00PM and end at 5:30PM. Presenters usually speak for 25 to 45 minutes, followed by a Discussion Period where the Leader and Audience Members ask Questions and express their Opinions, and the Presenter replies.

Friday, 6/27 Dr. Ben Lowry "Training Your Brain"
Dr. Lowry will explore topics including cognitive decline, neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to repair, adapt, and even regenerate over time—and how we can actively improve brain performance through targeted training.
Friday, 7/4 John Rainey "The History of Old Glory, Patriotic Songs, and National Holidays."
We will discuss the evolution and history of the flag, patriotic songs, and our national holidays mixed with trivia related to each.
