I must confess, I was surprised to see the usually reliable Google cache, so useful for extracting stuff from dead sites, utterly failed for this multiply referenced work (and it is only 5 years old!). Having said which, wndw is terrific, and maybe the work here at village-telco will one day be appended.

While not germane to this list, this lacuna does point to a collective failure on the part of open knowledge supporters to address the need to make open publishing more pragmatic than the old way. I personally wish that I had a) archived a soft copy then and b) had kept it on some effectively retrievable media.

Hi -

unfortunately, the book has been published only in German. 

I'm considering to write a book about mesh networking with Openwrt in English, but there are no concrete plans yet.
