Hi -

I have updated SECN to 1.1 RC2 in the Attitude Adjustment firmware and also fixed one issue with regards to the regdomain setting, which prevented the use of the WiFi channels 12 and 13. I think I can actually drop alpha-status for the firmware. Your feedback is welcome.

Besides:

is a good read.

Cheers,

Hi Elektra,

Thanks for taking this on!

I have flashed a pair of MPs with the following images from your download site:

openwrt-atheros-2.6.37.6-alpha5-root.squashfs
openwrt-atheros-2.6.37.6-alpha5-vmlinix.lzma

Are these the correct images?

After flashing and using the IVR to update the IP addresses, I was unable to login with root/admin or admin/admin per SECN1.1 RC2. I also found that the WebUI is the older non-tabbed one from before 1.1 RC1.

What file set did you start with to merge in your changes? The two best choices would be:

or

The MP one is for SECN 1.1 RC2 under Kamikaze and theWR703 one is for SECN 1.1 RC2 under Attitude Adjustment. The MP one would most likely be the best to use since the MP WebUI is slightly different from the WebUI for the TP devices. The WR703 one would be needed for reference since it comprehends the differences due to the use of Attitude Adjustment. Of course, you might find doing it the opposite way might be easier. As I said in an earlier email, I tried starting with my MP SECN 1.1 RC2 file set but got myself all tangled up trying to figure out what changes pointed out by "diff" were due to your actual changes or changes that Terry and I had made to whatever your base was as we worked toward the SECN 1.1 RC2 feature set.

Apologies if I just stupidly grabbed up the wrong images from your download site.

Cheers,

Keith

Hi Elektra
I have put a patch together to convert AA RC1 to the tabbed web interface. I will check it out on your RC2 and let you know how it goes. That should help getting it up to date.
Regards
Terry
