to village-telco-dev,
Hi, guys and gals

I've looked over the "to do" list that Steve Song enumerated in his recap post
on Village Telco, and there are a number of things that I might be able to
help with.

The first todo that caught my eye was:
"[The] Village Telco entrepreneur is likely to want tools for mass
configuration of the network, e.g. putting all the nodes on a single subnet,
re-numbering the phone numbers, etc. ... Having [a bulk] editor to edit the
attributes of the Mesh Potatoes on your network would make network
configuration a breeze."
which sounds like an interesting (and necessary) project. So, is anyone
already working on this? I'd like to lend a hand. If the project is yet
unassigned, I'll take it on.

Hi Lew,

A Bulk editor would be a great thing to have. Your kind offer to help
highlights the need for some central coordination of volunteer
activities with the rest of the team. Steve, maybe we could talk about
this when you are back from vacation.

On a technical level is also means we need to work out which parameters
are to be edited and where they are stored - I suspect this is probably
inside an Afrimesh of LUCI conf file.

Cheers,

David
