uboot gives just crazy characters

Hello,

I found an old MP2.0 and would like to give it a new live.

I connected a CH304 @115200 8N1 to the MP2.0 and powered it up. There are crazy characters at first (uboot I guess) and after some seconds there is output from OpenWrt.

If I interrupt the boot sequence by hitting the "enter" key the crazy output stops and kind of waits for input from me like a prompt would do.

What do I miss here?
