Hi, I'm a City and Regional Planning Graduate Student at OSU and I
have just started working with Brady Carlucci on planning related
issues in Lockbourne. What are some of the issues that you would like
to see addressed in Lockbourne?

First and foremost we need affordable high speed Internet. Preferably fiber optic lines to give residents an advantage in education and communications and attract more businesses.

Additionally, we need to have our sidewalks redone and work with our post office to provide mail delivery or at least let people have access to get their mail 24 hours a day.

Other nice,  but not necessary things would be bike trails, an improved park, and to get some small businesses in the village such as a restaurant, coffee shop, or pizza place.

These are just a few things I would like to see for our village, but I'm sure a lot of people have some good ideas too.

Matt:  my daughter and I bought a home in Lockbourne about a year and a half ago.  One of the reasons we bought it was because it was on a closed road with no other homes and no traffic.  I certainly don't mind the farmers that farm the fields around the house, but there are cars and trucks that go around the signs night and day.  Recently two vehicles stopped at the house and said there was a man down at the bridge (after the road closed sign) threatening them with a gun and that they had reported it to the sheriff.  They were going to wait, but it was well over an hour before the officer showed up and then minimized the situation saying the man was just watching trains.  I hate to complain, but part of the reason we bought the home is now gone.  In addition to that (and I realize there can be nothing done about this) the constant beeping, like a forklift in reverse, is driving everyone crazy.  We should be able to do something about this, shouldn't we?  A response would be so much appreciated.
