Ok So I contacted the knight foundation about funding for a hackerspace and I should hear something about it by the end of January.  This is still an idea that is being worked on.  Right now we are lookng for a suitable space since zoning regs will prevent us from buying a house in village green.  Message me here if you want to help us get started.
