I thought the tripping off was only our unit but obviously it's more than that. I am curious also if you've had the problem solved and how. Thanks...

 Hi Justin,
I also own and rent out a unit in building a 6th fl duplex # 6112. I just heard from my tenant that the upstairs unit is tripping off.  What did you end up doing?  If you had your unit replaced please tell me if you were pleased with the contractor and approx. what it cost.  Also do you have a drainage problem in your shower drain.  We've had constant problem since we bought the place in 2006.  We've snaked it a dozen times and now believe it is a problem further down the drain line and not necessarily our drain.  If you've heard of others with this problem please let me know.

With the unseasonably warm weather recently, my tenants are
complaining how hot the unit is (I own a 6th floor duplex).  The A/C
units both shut off after a couple of minutes and I have been told
that the building will not be switched over to A/C until sometime in
May.

Are others experiencing the same issue with their individual A/C units
or are mine in need of repair?

Any help from your or your tenants would be much appreciated as mine
are extremely frustrated and I feel like I am unable to make the
situation any better

Thank you in advance!

Hi all,
I had the same issue two years ago and had Diversified come in and service both of my ac units.  They actually had to take out the one that kept tripping off and in two days had it back in and running...maybe you can try them 845-528-7692

Hi all,

I have had another service company come in and he tried a myriad of different things to fix both of my units but unsuccessful.  He recommended installing new unit but 6 week wait time on product.  Since then my tenants have moved out and have not decided on purchasing new unit just yet.  I have heard others who have used Paul at Diversified with good results so I am thinking of contacting him soon.

Susan - I have not had any issues with drainage in shower.

Thank you for your response Lisa!!  How much was your bill?

My bill was about $600, but well worth the $$ especially with the heat and the large fish bowl windows that we have here..I can have only one of my units on and my place gets cold now..Good luck all..
