Hi Group,
Has anyone had any heating issues in last two weeks? My tenant keeps says she's had her units keep shutting off on her. She said she has to keep the unit on low to run it because if she switches to high it will immedietly shut off. Anyone experience anything similar?

Thanks, Mayco

Mayco,

My tenants have informed me downstairs unit will only run on low setting (will shut off on high setting) and upstairs unit functioning just fine.  I had Jaime come over to "bleed" pipes on downstairs unit 6 weeks ago because it wasn't working at all.  He said the reason for it's current status is that pipes need to be cleaned but that is something that an HVAC company would have to do.  I am holding off unless that unit stops working.

Hope this helps

Isn't this issue something that the Board would take the lead on?

would anyone on our board, (Kevin,  Ron, maybe)or jaime know the name or any information on the heating units we have. I need to get someone in as it is currently 54 degrees in my apt and getting colder. My unit blows warm for two minutes, then cool for two and then shuts off. If someone can tell me something about unit so I can make calls and give proper info it would be most helpful. I remember at last board meeting some info on units was being passed around-maybe I can get copy of that??I await an answer with frozen breath. Thank you Patti

For those of you having maintenance issues with your HVAC units, please contact Paul from Diversified Plumbing and Heating.

Please Google him.
