Heat issues

Hi everyone and happy new year!

Is anyone having trouble with heating units? My tenants just informed
me that neither unit is currently working and they stopped working
last week. I just want to know if it is potentially a building issue
or my particular unit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There may be air in the "pipes". Ask Jamie to flush them out to see if that helps.

I have some info.

Jaime called me back. Boiler is on and working as it should.

As the building had a major water pipe burst last week, some air is still
trapped inside the water flow pipes that feed the HVAC units.

The air pocket is not allowing the heated water to circulate and that is why
the units are not hot. The HVAC units need to be purged, which will
eliminate the air pocket.

Please call the maintenance office at 914-737-0226 (leave a message with
your unit number and a phone number if the VM comes on).

Jaime must gain access to the upper floor units to purge any air that may be
trapped in the water lines.
