The Jabsco 32305-0092 is a polypropylene diaphragm pump with 3/4 Inch Hose Barb Ports, coupled to a 12 Volt DC Motor. This Jabsco pump has an ideal flow and pressure for washdown. Washdown pumps are ideal for cleaning decks, cockpits and anchors on yachts of a range of sizes and can be connected to sea or fresh water. This unit comes with an intake strainer, spray nozzle and quick connect 3/4 Inch (19mm) hose barb fittings. For many years, Jabsco PAR-Max washdown pumps have been the preferred system for cleaning marine vessels, making it an industry standard. That's because all Jabsco products are specifically designed to fit the expressed needs of boat builders and enthusiasts alike. These Washdown pumps are a development of our Water Pressure System Pumps. Higher shut-off pressure switches prevent on/off cycling while salt water compatible trigger nozzles let you blast off mud and dirt and then rinse down. Jabsco 3.0 GPM washdown pumps are self-priming and may be located above or below the water supply in a dry location.

Designed for cleaning decks, cockpits, and anchors on yachts in a range of sizes, this full line of pumps provides 3 GPM and up to 50 psi pressure. Thats sufficient power to blast decks and anchor lines clean. Suitable for sea or fresh water, each one comes with an intake strainer, a spray nozzle and quickconnect 3/4 Inch hose barb fittings. This pump has a corrosion resistant sealed motor for harsh environment use. Also can be used for baitwell applications. Baitwell is a full flow application.Flow rate to 3.0 GPM 11.4 LPM, Pressure up to 50 PSI 3.5 bar, Selfpriming up to 8 feet 2.5m.

I have a maritime skiff so thru-hull pick up fittings are not an option for me. I had a jabsco washdown pump that I first bought for washdown and continious use for livewell.....nope...killed my battery quick first time using. Maybe 3 hours or less. Had to use it for dedicated washdown. Ended up buying a rule 500 bilge pump with transom bracket. It makes about a 3' climb.....I probably have a 30% loss by the time it makes it up to the 30 gallon live well. If my math is correct it's about a 150 gallons per hour exchange. Plenty for macks to stay alive. I can run it no problems for as long as I need it.

When you say 4-6' of lift, does that mean you are looking for a self priming pump? Livewell pumps are typically mounted in the hull below waterline. If you do not want to install a through hull there are transom mounting kits that have a high speed pick up bracket, as wellas, the pump. These are easy to install and work very well in every application that I have seen. If you look at the Parker thread I have on here you will see livewell rigging pics in the near future.

Yes, a self-priming pump to mount above deck. I purchased and installed a Johnson (10-13252-103-BW) 4.0 GPM Baitwell Pump and am super-pleased. It is 4 gallons/minute (not per hour) and provides plenty of flow for my 24 gallon livewell. I have a through-hull fitting in the bottom of the boat and the pump effortlessly sucks water up the 3' lift and pumps water - even when underway. I am a bit concerned about the high amp draw and don't run it for too long without the engine running. The only thing I don't like about the pump is that the o-ring falls off every time you clear the filter and is difficult to re-install properly.

That is a very good idea using a 500 bilge pump. I must of bought 8 pumps in 12 years because they clog and burn out. I have two motors one for livewell & one for wash down. Both are not working at this time. Very smart using bilge pump. Thanks.

The largest, most powerful Jabsco washdown pump, the HotShot HD6 features a wider diameter motor with a powder coated shell, cast aluminum endbells and lower housing to improve pressure capability and life.

Marine pumps circulate, remove, and deliver fresh and salt water. Marine straight centrifugal pumps have an intake connection in-line with the impeller's eye and shaft. Marine submersible centrifugal pumps transfer or recirculate liquid and work fully immersed in the liquid. Marine utility pumps are used for a variety of water removal and washdown applications. Bait and live well pumps circulate new fresh or salt water to live bait and caught-fish holding tanks. Marine bilge pumps install at the lowest point in the boat to drain unwanted water.
