Business Analyst for AA.com Customer Technology

Candidate must possess a strong fundamental understanding of business analysis techniques for eliciting, developing and managing business and functional requirements for small to large projects. Candidate should have excellent communication skills to lead customers and team members through business process modeling, requirements gathering and creation of effective User Stories/Use Cases for new and enhanced system features within the web application.

The Analyst will work collaboratively with the customer and user groups, technical leads, development resources, quality assurance and external project teams to successfully build and implement projects.


• Ability to have a customer focus and view the product from the big picture/customer experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 3 to 5 years’ experience with writing detailed User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and creating Business Process Models
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and the requirements gathering process
• Perform iteration planning, story and task estimation, daily stand-up meetings and iteration retrospective
• Preferred candidate is familiar with Rally Agile planning tool and HP Quality Center testing and requirement tool
• Experience with SharePoint or other collaboration tools
• Experience in the airline/travel industry desired but not required
