Aeromodelling GC - Technical activitiy in hostel

Hello all,
This year the tech council of Vikings is planning to participate in GC's as well as Techfest and send very strong tech teams from our hostel. We are inviting people to be a part of the same. Upcoming GC is the Aeromodelling GC, in which we have to construct a RC plane, capable of carrying maximum dead weight. We are inviting enthusiastic persons to be a part of our team. Those who have experience in making a RC plane, please help your hostel by guiding hostel team for making of the RC plane. We need to start early to make the winning bot.
Also, a very similar event is included in Techfest under Extreme machines: Aviator design challenge. It's a mega event with cash prize worth 40000Rs. Problem statement is similar to GC, and hence, same machine will participate in Techfest also. Same machine will also fly in flying challenge of Techfest, Doing manuvers in air, with cash prize worth 15000Rs.
It does not matter if you are new to tech. All you need is enthu. these GC's are conducted in order to provide you an informal stage for doing hands on tech. The tech council and seniors will guide you in learning tech while making the best robots. In addition to that, We have a very well equipped tech room and funding from hostel! So, please participate in Vikings tech.
