In light of the tragic events unfolding in Tibet, Canada Tibet Committee Victoria would urge you to show your concern/support in the following four ways:

 

1. Sign on the pledge www.standupfortibet.org, if you have not already done so.
2. Sign on Avaaz's pledge "Tibet's Cry for Help" at https://secure.avaaz.org/en/save_tibetan_lives/ - aiming for one million signatures by Dec 10.
3. Join us on Saturday, December 10 (International Human Rights Day) for a vigil in front of the cenotaph at the Legislature, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.  Please come for all or part of it!
4. And please do your best to SPREAD the word about items 1,2 and 3 above, to EVERYONE you know.

Tibetans and their supporters have declared Dec 10th as their next International Day of Action for Tibet.
